The Duplicates spent two weeks at Bates College in Maine in February 2014. As artists in Residence we created Expo 2054: the last world's fair before the end of the world.
Mame, the eccentric visionary who has crafted this last tribute to humanity, built of recreations of world expositions. With the help of her paid intern, Mame tours the audience through her scale models, maps and artifacts, from the initial inspiration to the last day. |
