ABOUT
Rowan Doyle is an Experiential Designer and Creative Director with a special interest in audience interactions and immersive environments. With roots in Theatrical Design and Devised Theatre, Rowan brings a deep understanding of storytelling and visual narrative to her work across themed entertainment, museums, and live experiences. Her collaborations include projects with Netflix, Meow Wolf, Thinkwell Group, THG, The Museum of Ice Cream, Frog Design, Roto, Immersive Van Gogh, GES, The Rude Mechanicals, New York Theatre Workshop, and Bread and Puppet Theater, among others, as well as an extensive background in theatre, puppetry, film, and television.
She is a co-founder of the theatre collective The Duplicates. Her achievements include the Austin Critics Award for Best Set Design for The Poison Squad and the USITT Award for Outstanding Design for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. She holds an MFA in Theatrical Design from The University of Texas at Austin, a BFA in Theater, and a BA in English Literature and Professional Writing from Concordia University.
She also earned a certificate in Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice in Design from Parsons School of Design, reflecting her dedication to creating inclusive and impactful spaces. Her favourite projects include collaboration, human centered design and anything miniature.
